The underside of this tabletop conceal a few mini-butterfly keys that gently bracket my small endorsement. I don't do it often but more and more I've been asked to 'sign' my furniture pieces & woodworks. I think I might have to look into a logo branding iron.

Close up detail of luscious river coffee table. I typically avoid burlled grain when working with live edge slabs. Figured grain, great, but burlled grain in a live-edge means a lot of work! And even though I had first pick out of 6 or 7 Cottonwood slabs, I immediately gravitated toward this runt of the litter. I knew all the figure throughout and this electrified burlled section would prove challenging during milling and finishing- but... I also saw something quite special just waiting to be unlocked. So much so, that after carving out the knotted bark, I elected to fill with a semi-translucent clear epoxy to accentuate the surrounding dimensional grain even further... giving the table yet another focal point. The eye of the knotty storm as it were.

We could call it an early Mother's Day present, because my wife certainly knows if I had originally set out with this project as being her Mother's Day gift then I'd never have finished on time 😜 Its still missing a drawer-box above the cooler, so I'll aim to have that finished in time for her actual Mommy day.
Here's her new walk-in pantry done floor to ceiling in white washed White Oak - Every single component was handmade from rough oak lumber- even the crown molding and the country white oak butcher block counters. Total demolition and then remodel, including adding & moving electrical outlets, recessed smart led counter lighting, new beveridge center, and beautiful marble and brass mosaic backsplash.

Completed total remodel for this walk-in pantry wouldn't be complete without a little to go with it. Smart wall switch for wi-fi control over concealed counter LEDs and non-wifi wired overhead fixture. Here toggling between overhead lights and programmed scenes for the counter lights - warm bright white and multicolor night modes. Toggles can easily be programmed to virtually any color scene.
