Some projects are about more than wood.

We recently had the privilege of restoring two small bunny baskets that hold a lifetime of memories. These pieces were originally handcrafted by our client’s late father when she was just a child. A simple Easter tradition that became a cherished family heirloom.

Our goal wasn’t to make them look new. It was to carefully refinish them in a rich dark walnut while preserving the character, wear, and charm that tells their story.

Now they’re ready for the next generation of Easter mornings.

Restoring pieces like this is a reminder that woodworking isn’t just about building things, it’s about preserving the memories attached to them.

It was another great week of woodworking for Life’s Edge LLC! We were able to complete a beautiful (30”x6’x1 1/4” thick) Black Cherry Glue up top for a DIY desk that our customer wanted to build!

Definitely a premium piece of hardwood that’s going to last a long time!! We completed the crack filling, glue up, flattening, and first course of sanding. He completed the rest!!

Great Job Mike!! It turned out amazing!!! It was a pleasure working with you!

Ps we surprised him with a sweet CNC engraving and black epoxy inlay!

It was another great weekend of woodworking for Life’s Edge LLC! We were able to complete our Butcher block countertop installation!!

It was definitely a challenge working with an incredibly hard species of wood (Curupau or Patagonian Rosewood).
