Help Southern Kitchens support our local community in Alexandria! :) We are currently seeking donations of new or gently used furniture this February and March to help support Space of Her Own end of year space transformations.

SOHO's mission is to transform spaces and transform lives. SOHO empowers girls from under-resourced communities through visual arts, carpentry, life skills lessons and creative one-to-one mentoring. Designer Rachel is a mentor this school year and can attest to how wonderful this program is!

What we need:

Art & carpentry supplies for creative projects
Bunk Beds
Twin bed frames
New twin sheet sets
New pillows
Small desks, chairs, dressers and night stands
Mirrors that can be decorated
Lamps with plain, flat shades that can be decorated
White / eggshell wall paint
New paint brushes, rollers and drop cloths
Plain curtains

Rachel has hosted a few remote color consultations to help clients coordinate their cabinet, tile, and countertop choices!
We are doing our best here at Southern Kitchens to adapt to virtual appointments that still offer a personal flair to help keep our clients informed and confident in their design decisions.

The Southern Kitchens showroom will remain open by appointment only. We are taking all precautions to maintain a clean and sterile environment in the showroom.
