The owner of A & JAD's, Jad Ibrahim, grew up in the business. Ibrahim, established Star Rug Upholstery in this very same location. It was then his family residence and he made room for a workshop in the house. He started out installing wall-to-wall carpet and then added oriental rug cleaning, sales, and service. As time progressed, furniture upholstery and furniture refinishing were added.

This late 1950s European style sofa was built with solid hardwood and craftsmanship meant to last. We restored the frame to be even stronger than when it was new, reinforced with glue, wood screws, and additional corner supports. The piece received new webbing, re tied springs, and a complete reupholstery from the ground up, finished with feather lined cushions for lasting comfort and elegance.
