The owner of A & JAD's, Jad Ibrahim, grew up in the business. Ibrahim, established Star Rug Upholstery in this very same location. It was then his family residence and he made room for a workshop in the house. He started out installing wall-to-wall carpet and then added oriental rug cleaning, sales, and service. As time progressed, furniture upholstery and furniture refinishing were added.

It’s been a while since we’ve shared a piece like this… and this one felt worth the wait ✨

A late 1800s hand-carved Victorian chair, fully brought back to life. The wood was completely restored, and we reupholstered it using Greenhouse Fabric B8483 Snow while keeping its timeless character intact. Every detail was handled with care to honor the original craftsmanship 🤍

Now it gets to be part of a Quinceañera celebration for our customers daughter, adding a little history and elegance to such a special day.

These two Victorian style side chairs were fully restored by regluing and repairing the wood frames, rebuilding the springs, and reupholstering the seats while keeping the same hand tufted style. The fabric was supplied by A & Jad’s from their showroom ✨
