I was a little worried photographing this one because it’s such a gloomy day here today, but I honestly think that helped capture the color! Meet Moonmoss from , the perfect versatile blend of blue, green and gray. This piece was claimed out of my inventory by a return client for her lake home and it has such a calm, peaceful feeling, perfect for the lake! I also used the color Smoked Walnut for a warm brown paint wash for the top. Ready to be enjoyed for years to come!

This vintage MCM has a whole new look and I’m here for it! My client chose the color Meadow Veil with her new lake home in mind. It is a pale, gentle blue green that just feels so fresh! I also used Smoked Walnut for the paint wash on the top. Those colors, paired with clear and matte gold hardware are just the perfect combination for a lake home.

love when two different styles of furniture collide. One of my friends claimed this vintage Drexel out of my inventory and “married” it to the newer, more traditional nightstands. I used the color Burnished Umber for the color on the bodies and a mix of Washed Taupe and Smoked Walnut for the paint washed tops and bases. We built new bases for the nightstands to mimic the base on the dresser and of course so they would be taller. Replaced the old hardware with all new matching antique brass pulls and lined all the drawers with pretty paper, that I think coordinates so well! Absolutely loving this combo of paint and wood!

I’m loving how this vintage Lane tallboy turned out. I used the color Smoked Walnut for the entire piece. The body was painted with it, while the drawers and base were paint washed using it. Smoked Walnut is such a rich and bold color, while appearing black, it has brown and bronze undertones that give it undeniable warmth. 🖤🤎

When I saw this vintage Kent Coffey tallboy, I knew it would be for my son. He wanted a tall dresser, stained dark with good drawer space. I stripped and sanded the entire piece- with my Festool and also lots of hand sanding, so as not to burn through any veneer. I stained with Minwax oil based Dark Walnut, but it looked terrible. So, I applied a round of oil based Antique Walnut and that did the trick! I did have some areas where I had to use my Blendal sticks - because burn through🙄 Also, the Mohawk spray toner helped tone out some areas. I sealed with wipe on polyurethane- 4 coats total - 5 coats on the top and can I just say I love that product! I kept the original hardware, made some hardware soup, sprayed with Rustoleum Rustic Mist, finally finished with a mix of Rub-n-Buff colors to get a worn, vintage look. Refinishing an MCM is definitely out of my comfort zone and I definitely doubted myself along the way…But I didn’t give up and I think it’s just beautiful now! I’m patting myself on the back for this one 🤎

This one is gonna be hard to let go! I absolutely love it!
I stripped, sanded and bleached this solid, tiger oak, petite sideboard. I did a mix of Washed Taupe and Smoked Walnut to create my favorite new paint wash! Also, I might be a little obsessed with the swan paper I lined the drawers with. I can’t believe this is the same piece I started with - SO GOOD!
