This charming and versatile vintage accent table brings a touch of European country charm to any space. It features a tray-style top with scalloped edges, decorative accents and a wildflower botanical motif on a soft beige and sage canvas. Light distressing highlights the table's elegant details. A lower shelf adds both function and balance—perfect for books or décor.

This two-tiered table is painted with a base coat of Autentico Vintage Chalk paint in Linen. The background for the wildflowers was created with a combination of Autentico Linen, Aged Paper, and Country Beige, with specks of other colors pulled from the wildflower palette.

This piece is ideal as a petite coffee table, a side table, entryway piece, or accent table in a covered patio or sunroom.

It was Spray Day at the Furniture Painting Guild with Vintage Veneers Decor! This is FPG member Lynnae, who is spraying Windsor chairs with lots of spindles in the beautiful Autentico Chalk paint color Dutch Blue. We also sprayed a gorgeous sideboard in the same color earlier in the day. Autentico paints work wonderfully applied by sprayer, roller and brush!

What do you do with all those inexpensive glass vases that seem to multiply every time you receive a flower bouquet? 🌸

Transform them into beautiful textured "stone" décor with Autentico Venice Lime Paint!

No complicated multi-step techniques, no powders, baking soda mixtures, or faux finishing glazes required. Just:

✨ Check out this STUNNING transformation by Furniture Painting Guild member Lynnae! ✨

After stripping away a terrible previous paint job of multiple layers, she discovered that some surfaces of this lingerie chest had begun to swell, making a traditional repaint nearly impossible.

Her solution? Applying Autentico Venice Lime Paint in "French Grey". Venice Lime is a beautifully textured paint that dries to a parchment-like finish. While it's often used on decorative walls, it’s also PERFECT for giving furniture an old-world look or rescuing pieces that seem beyond saving.

To elevate her design even more, Lynnae added the beautiful Watercolor Wings decoupage paper by Andy Skinner and finished the entire piece with an opalescent glaze for a soft, luminous glow.

Beginning this weekend, this piece is available for sale at Chartreuse & co. , in Buckeystown, MD, in the Vintage Veneers Decor/Furniture Painting Guild booth upstairs in the barn!

This beautiful Makenzie-Childs-inspired painted sideboard went home to its owner today completely transformed from its badly scratched original mahogany stained finish. This piece incorporates both stripes and a harlequin pattern juxaposed with bright florals in the fabric that is decoupaged on the cabinet doors.

My client is redoing all of her furniture to incorporate bright colors and whimsy into her decor. Keep an eye on this space to see more transformations of her furniture collection!

I am currently working on a commission for a client that likes Mackenzie-Childs furniture. I am being careful to create an inspired design that does not violate trademark…but I gotta say this is TEDIOUS detail work—not to be undertaken by the faint of heart. No wonder that furniture is so expensive! LoL
