Every unit has a story.

For generations, that story has been carried on a guidon.

This custom piece was inspired by the traditional military guidon—reimagined as a display piece designed to preserve a Soldier’s legacy long after the final formation.

Featuring the 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team colors, unit insignia, rank, challenge coin, and personalized inscription, this piece honors over two decades of service and leadership.

Fun fact: The word guidon comes from the old French word guyd-homme, meaning “guide man.” Long before modern communications, Soldiers rallied on the battlefield by finding their unit’s guidon and following it forward.

Today, the guidon still represents a unit’s identity, history, and esprit de corps.

It’s no surprise these encased guidon displays are quickly becoming one of Oak & Honor’s most requested designs.

“Current Status: Bargaining”

Most PCS gifts celebrate a job well done.

This one documented the unit’s emotional response.

Built as a custom recognition piece for a Brigade XO, the movable indicator tracks the five stages of grief every member of staff went through when they found out a good boss was leaving:

➡️ Denial
➡️ Anger
➡️ Bargaining
➡️ Depression
➡️ Acceptance

Fun fact: The original 56th Infantry Brigade traces its lineage back more than a century, serving through multiple reorganizations, mobilizations, and deployments. Through all those years, one thing has remained constant—great leaders leave an impact long after they leave the formation.

This piece features the 36th ID patch, crossed rifles, and a rotating selector designed to move with the staff’s emotional well being.

Colors mean something.
Numbers mean something.
But the guidon? That’s identity.

This custom piece was built for the outgoing Company Commander of HHC, 56 IBCT—a replica guidon turned into something that doesn’t get cased, doesn’t get rolled up, and doesn’t get forgotten.

Every element on this board tells part of the story—unit, time, people, and the weight of command that never quite goes away when you hang it up.

Fun fact: Historically, the guidon wasn’t just a marker—it was a rally point. Lose it, and you lost more than cloth… you lost cohesion.

This one? It’s not getting lost.

🪵 Built to last longer than the command.

“Answering the call.”

Some people fill a position. Others own it.

This piece was built for MSG Benny Garcia, who served as the S1 NCOIC for the 56 IBCT — the guy behind the scenes making sure Soldiers were taken care of, paperwork didn’t kill careers, and chaos somehow stayed organized.

Fun fact: The Army has tracked Soldiers and managed personnel since the Continental Army… because even in 1775, someone had to keep the system from eating its own.

This custom Army NCO Saber Display is designed to honor the legacy, discipline, and leadership that come with the blade.

Crafted from solid hardwood with natural grain that speaks for itself—no shortcuts, no filler. Dual precision-cut holders keep the saber secure while putting it front and center where it belongs.

Whether it’s for a retirement, promotion, or a well-earned piece of your story—this isn’t just a display… it’s a statement.

🇺🇸 For NCOs. By someone who gets it.

Since the release of the iOS 26.2 update, my phone was not receiving Meta notifications, which caused me to miss messages, comments, and inquiries.

I’m actively working through all notifications now and responding as quickly as possible. If I haven’t replied yet, please know it was unintentional — and feel free to follow up.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Looks great, yea?! Except it’s not what the client asked for… After 2 failed attempts, the client graciously accepted the product. While part of me is relieved it’s out the door, the other part hates I didn’t get someone exactly what they asked for.

Looking for a leather craftsman 👀

I’m trying to source a custom leather desk mat for my office desk that fits in a rounded corner.
• Color: black or espresso
• Material: real leather (not faux)
• Clean, professional look — no flashy logos
• Open to edge stitching, debossing, or monogramming if you offer it

If you make these or know someone who does quality work, drop a comment or DM me with pics, pricing, and turnaround time.

Support small makers whenever possible. 👍

Engineers don’t just build structures — they build momentum.

This retirement piece was crafted for MAJ Zina Salazar, who closed her career as the full-time OIC of the 156th Brigade Engineer Battalion. Fittingly, the design centers on a fortress motif: a nod to the Engineer Regiment’s roots in breaching, building, and holding ground so others can move forward.

Fun fact: Army Engineers have been shaping battlefields since 1775 — long before the U.S. even had a flag — proving that mobility, survivability, and ingenuity win wars long before the first shot is fired.

This isn’t just wood and stain. It’s legacy, leadership, and decades of service — built to last.

Some guidons get furled.
Some legacies don’t.

This custom 56th IBCT HHC replica guidon was built to honor 1SG Jeremy Roberson—a First Sergeant who didn’t just hold the line, but set the standard. From Master Gunner to Operations NCOIC, his fingerprints are on every mission, every Soldier, every success that passed through the Brigade.

The colors, the angles, the details—nothing here is accidental. Just like his leadership.
Crafted in wood. Earned in service. Meant to outlast the ceremony.

From Service to Legacy.
That’s Oak & Honor. 🇺🇸
