It's always great to get a call back to build something new for a old client, especially when they are as lovely as this couple. They have a lot of books, and wanted to display them without being in the way so we came up with this shelving that is as minimal as possible while still jiving with the somewhat maximalist kitchen we put in a year or two ago.

We made this lovely set of shelves, cabinets, doors, and a little kitchenette (I'll post pictures of the kitchen next) for a house in Embudo south of Taos. They are built with mixture of hickory and walnut with shop made walnut pulls and linen panels for the doors, originally conceived so that we could hide a subwoofer behind them without hiding it's sound and then used throughout the project because they just looked so good.

There is nothing quite as nice as a fresh new bathroom. This was a great project with a custom hard maple vanity with big leaf maple door panels, a medicine cabinet and shelf to match it, and bespoke shop made hooks, pulls, towbar, and even toilet roll holder to really set the whole project alight. The countertop is concrete that we poured in place to create a seamless seal against the walls.

This is one of my favorites that we've built this year, a murphy bed with floating shelves and a huge, two person desk all out of hickory. The clients came to us trying to figure out how to fit all those different needs into a single room, and I think they came together in a beautiful, unified way.

A little side cabinet for a kitchen made out of some pretty stunning maple. I love little pieces like this who's main purpose is mostly to make the space beautiful, to add a little something on the side that elevates the whole kitchen.

Some walnut towel hooks for a bathroom. We've been really enjoying building all these little detail pieces in some of the projects we've been working on. It has a way of transforming and tying together the room that off the shelf hardware just can't come close to.

Great install up near Taos at a beautiful house just off the Rio Grande. I'm really loving these cloth doors with walnut detailing. We have one more trip up there in a few months where we will be installing full size doors of the same design that I think will be pretty spectacular.

Some walnut and hickory doors with cloth panels we're building for a set of furniture going into a house south of Taos. I'm really loving the flow and feel of these carved handles.
