The Albion Table Company, LLC

The Albion Table Company, LLC The Albion Table Company makes small end tables/functional art pieces in the shapes of individual states of the United States, as well as of foreign countries.

These tables are hand cut and made of different woods from the US and around the world. I typically use 4 species of wood; cherry, oak, walnut and maple, but will build using exotics as requested by customers. I Also can mount photographs and veneers to the top of the table. I use a polyurethane and/or bar-top epoxy to finish the tops of the tables (for veneer and picture tops), since I expect these tables to see some use. I also do wall hangings

Post Christmas Post: I thought I had a couple of cutting board orders coming in...they did not materialize, so I repurposed the pieces into a tree. Which arrangement do you like the best? (Credit for the second design goes to my daughter, Katelyn.)

Our latest project; an outdoor Michigan lake table. Made from Birch plywood and adorned with blue, white and sparkly epoxy, as well as recycled cedar from an old outdoor stairway, and cherry remnants from my bed build last year.
The Epoxy art was done by a former student from Albion College who entered the epoxy art world during Covid... I cut a Michigan with a band saw, she had a second one made from Plywood, a bit bigger and experimented. This is one of two they made. 24 in long, 16 in wide and stands 30 in tall. Will be sealed with Water Seal for outdoor use. Final finished pictures to follow

Latest project: convert a non standard 1920s walnut bed into a love seat. It was a blast problem solving and creating this memory piece for my client. It has been in the family for decades. The client has added cushions! Looks great!!
