Wilson Farm Produce, LLC We are a family owned farm that strives to produce chemical-free vegetables to customers around Iowa.

Some of the items we have available are a variety of tomatoes and peppers, along with potatoes, garlic, watermelon, squash, cucumbers and zucchini.

I am guilty of not posting progress on the farm. 20 flats(3000 onions) are up and needing another hair cut. Garlic is poking through the winter mulch, 200 lbs of potatoes are chittlng, waiting to be planted. Peppers and tomatoes are growing waiting to be planted in the tunnels.
Busy time is coming. The garden gym welcomes anyone wanting to learn the produce business.

Getting started on the year. The $1200+ order of seeds are in, 5000 onion seeds are up, another 5000 seeds are planted.

Wilson Farm Produce ended the year out with fresh tomatoes from the garden. Tomatoes for salads, sliced tomatoes, and fresh salsa. All the ingredients for the salsa came from the garden.
Now to grow again for this year. Over 1000 garlic cloves were planted for this year.
If anyone has a request for us to grow for this year, let us know.

Sad ending to a great year in the garden. It is getting too expensive to heat the greenhouse. So tonight I shut off the furnace and this will end the tomatoes for the year.
We still have vine ripped tomatoes for sale. I picked over 40 pounds today.

Throughout the year, we make regular donations of fresh produce to the Adel Food Pantry, with a significant contribution at the end of the season before the onset of freezing temperatures. The past two Mondays have seen donations of tomatoes, bell peppers, Hungarian wax peppers, jalapenos, and habaneros, exceeding 200 pounds of fresh vegetables for community benefit. Our aim is to give back to the community that supports us throughout the growing season.
