The 2016 pecan year is drawing to a close. I notice that there are fewer signs of those wanting to purchase pecans on display. I am still buying pecans, although there are few sellers. I have purchased a few smaller pecans which were of good quality.
I delivered pecans to Eastland Friday. I am trying to grow my business both in Eastland and in Breckenridge. It is slow and I got a late start this year. I am sure next year will be better.
This year I have found it to be a real challenge, keeping my 94 GMC box truck running. First was the stearing dappener now the EGR valve has decided to rebel. As you go down the road the truck misses between 60 & 70 MPH. Oh well it keeps me humble.
