The tag office is closed to the public due to Covid. Please be patient with us we will try to work by mail and the drop box located in the parking lot. Pray for us as we work through this.

You can now pay online at www.wilcoxcountypay.com or the drop box is available in parking lot. Courthouse is open to the public you must enter in the front door and wear a mask.

2020 Tax bills are in the mail. You can now pay online with the barcode on your bill if you scan it with your phone or go to www.wilcoxcountypay.com We also have a drop box located in the parking lot, you can pay by mail or come in and see us! Due date is 12/01/2020.

Beginning Monday May 18, 2020 the Tax Commissioner's office will be open to the public with limited hours

Monday 9am - 1pm
Tuesday 9 am - 1 pm
Wednesday- CLOSED
Thursday 9 am -1 pm
Friday 9 am - 1 pm

Only 1person at a time
Temperature will be taken at the door
Please wear your mask.

We are asking for patience and that you follow all social guidelines. We ask that if you are able to handle your transactions by mail, dropbox or over the phone that you please do so. As your Tax Commissioner I will be the one waiting on you when you come in as I feel it is not safe for my staff. I was elected to serve the citizens of this county to the best of my ability and that is what I am trying to do.
The governor has extended all tag registrations between March 16 thru June 14 til June the 15.

The Wilcox County Courthouse will close to the public Monday, March 23. We will still be in the office working by mail and phone. The drop box located in the parking lot will be checked regularly and any payments for all offices can be placed there. We ask that you include you phone number on your correspondence in case we need to contact you. We accept credit cards by phone and can mail tag renewals to you. Property tax payments can be made on line at wilcoxcountypay.com. , by phone and snail mail. Mobile home taxes due April 1, 2020 has been extended to May 1, 2020 with no penalty. Filing for Homestead exemptions will still be due April 1, so please call the Tax Assessors office at (229) 467-2428 to make arrangements. We will do our best to service everyone. This is about safety for you and our staff. We sincerely hope this is over soon. Please call our office if you have any questions.(229)467-2025.

Beginning January 6, 2020 all visitors to the courthouse will have to enter through the front door which is designated as the Broad Street entrance. If you are disabled you can use the elevator located on the Park Ave side by pressing the button and someone will come and assist you. We ask for your patience as the Sheriff is implementing these procedures and adjustments may have to be put in place. All Constitutional Officers will assist in helping to make sure we are available to everyone in need of our services.
