We believe in the Graph Protocol - Next-generation of WEB 3.0 Era
We believe in something when it inspires us, it makes us do something different from what others are doing. In short, it gives us hope and power that we can do better than others. If we explore, we can find new things. The Graph protocol's unique features inspire me the most. Its decentralized nature will allow users to control their data, which means more privacy and this is what everybody needs in this era of web technology, where privacy is being neglected and others can control our data and information easily.
DApps are being made on a daily basis, they are reliable, secure, but the main problem of Web3 is querying databases. When you try to build dApps on the blockchains, the thing that disturbs you the most is getting a large amount of data because it literally becomes absurd. The process is so time-consuming that you can get frustrated with this. But no need to worry because The Graph and its sub-graphs provide us the solution to the problem. The Graph protocol is mainly used for indexing and managing data on a large scale, it also helps in retrieving data from blockchains and other networks.
Following are the open-source projects of web3.0
Mist: Browse and use DApps on the Ethereum network
Trust: Ethereum Wallet and Web3 DApp Browser for IOS
Metamask Mobile: Mobile web browser providing access to websites that use the Ethereum blockchain
Taquito: A library for building cool things on the Tezos Blockchain
Subgraphs are the data sets placed on the blockchains and networks. Anyone can create their own subgraph for indexing data from Ethereum. But the main thing is subgraph matching because it is the fundamental mechanism for querying large-scale graph data. So, graphs and subgraphs have made it easier for people to make dApps.
This program has given us a lot to learn. It gave us the opportunity to experience this amazing technology that has the ability to change the present and future of the people. It shows us how we can easily manage our data without involving any third party, we can do it by ourselves, we are not dependent on others and can do more from our side.
Excitement for it to go live on the main net is on another level. I am excited to be part of it because it opens a new world of decentralized networks. Everyone can create subgraphs by themselves and indexing will be very easy with the help of curators, who are here to see which data is more efficient and will check the subgraphs. It'll be astonishing to see people react when they use it.
