February 22...
The feeling of something bad hasn’t left since the beginning of the year...
On February 8, our production is robbed - thieves has stolen a new laptop, an old laptop, a new expensive woodworking machine and small electrical appliances 😡 We are writing a statement to the police... well, we think, so be it, if there is no war... we will pass away it...
On February 16, we are resting somewhere not home, we get a call from home, our neighbors say that we are drowning our neighbors 😱 we fly home, take out the entire kitchen, wipe the water, cover the pipes... well ok, if there is no war... let’s make a new kitchen now....
February 24 - my sister calls at 5:05, says the war has started, Mykolaiv is being bombed! What are we doing?
In tears, we begin to collect our stuff, children’s clothes, toys, think about where to go... The summer cottage is not an option - it is closer to the front line, if everything falls... I call everyone I could think of in a panic... we run from the city... I will never forget the huge column of smoke from the side of the Airport...
We have been living in the village for 1.5 months... we are helping everyone remotely as much as we can. My foreign clients have started creating actions to support our family, thanks to which we pulled through, plus we tried to help all other people in need. A BIG thank you to everyone for your support and help then ❤️
The hives in the photo are my view from the window every day.. At first, I waited with fear for an echelon of Ork vehicles every day... And then I hope to see ours 🥹 But the only thing there was a sign of our village, which was then removed after 2 weeks, when we realized that orcs can’t find their way without any signs on Ukraine.
We returned to the empty city on April 4th... It was very scary, but it was easier... we were 4 families sitting together in the village, and we already got each other stuck to the fullest 😖
After that, a lot of things changed in my life, I will probably write about it in the next post.
