狂徒劇團是由一群因為中山大學劇場藝術學系認識了戲劇這種多元的藝術、並抱持著在劇場中嘗試各式各樣的表演型態與突破的想法，開始以小劇團的形式進行戲劇活動的畢業生所組成的。

誠如劇團名稱所言，Desperado在西班牙文中的意思是「亡命之徒」，而我們都是一群在戲劇創作的過程中揮灑青春、燃燒生命去創作的年輕人。

常言道︰「做戲的是瘋子，看戲的是傻子。」而我們就是那無人可擋的「戲劇狂徒」－－為了創作出更多有趣的作品，在戲劇的道路上亡命狂奔。
