　　清新脫俗，美盛薈萃，是「清蔚」二字的意義，也是我們賦予清蔚盃高中辯論比賽的意義。自九十學年度，清華大學思言社對新竹地區中小學實行中小學計畫以來，繼續本著將思言精神發揚，為高中生帶起思辯風氣的理念，舉辦了高中生清蔚盃。今年，清蔚盃已是邁向第十三個年頭，我們希望帶給圈內更多不一樣的討論聲音。位居科技產業和新的新竹地區、以理工聞名的清華大學，清大思言社致力於將科技、法律領域相關辯題，推廣於校園辯論，希望為長久以來單一取向的辯題，注入一些新的生命力，也期許清蔚盃辯論賽的精神能夠再次屆屆傳承下去。
