社團法人台灣森林認證發展協會（Taiwan Forest Certification Development Association）於2011年由關心台灣林業管理的學者及業界發起成立。協會成立宗旨在於推廣台灣永續林業經營，希望能降低非法砍伐林木的進口、增加森林碳吸存，增益於人類社會及維持生態穩定。而我們期望能成為產、官、學界的橋樑，透過凝聚全國之專業學術、技能與力量，建立國際認可的台灣森林認證標準，協助國內林地管理者有效的執行永續林業經營，進而建立台灣森林認證系統、可追溯性的林產品監管鏈認證及標籤系統。長期目標為配合國內外相關利害關係團體，促進全球林業的永續經營。
