《2026 年米蘭設計週》
TABU 展出了許多不同類型的作品，包含了「TESSERE IL TEMPO」（編織時刻）和「Tékhne」（藝術與技巧）兩大主題。
展覽聚焦於大自然、工藝與創新、不同木質間的相輔相成，呈現精緻並豐富的觸感，更包括全新的鑲嵌與織作技法等等，持續探索原料、技藝與設計敘事之間的關係。

At Milan Design Week 2026, TABU showcased a wide range of works organized around two main themes: “TESSERE IL TEMPO” (Weaving Time) and “Tékhne” (Art and Techniques).
The exhibition focused on nature, craftsmanship, and innovation, highlighting the synergy between different types of wood to present a refined and rich tactile experience.
It also featured new inlay and weaving techniques, continuing to explore the relationship between raw materials, craftsmanship, and design narratives.

《一場關於材料的全新探索》
由 Studio JAO 與宏庚興業共同合作，展開一項關於材料的實驗，透過木皮與紗線的結合，重新思考結構、觸感與材料之間的關係。
以編織為核心，藉著控制張力、間距以及重複結構，使木皮與紗線彼此引導、相互回應，秉持著尊重材料本質的素養，無論在設計或是工藝層面，都體現出對材料的充分理解。
將物質間的對話完整呈現於作品中，並透過不同的嘗試，創造更多的可能性。
In collaboration with Studio JAO and Hung Geng Industrial, this project embarks on an experiment with materials, rethinking the relationship between structure, tactile quality, and materials through the combination of wood veneer and yarn.
With weaving at its core, the project uses controlled tension, spacing, and repetitive structures to allow the wood veneer and yarn to guide and respond to one another.
Upholding this literacy about respecting the essence of materials, it demonstrates a deep understanding of materials at both the design and craftsmanship levels.
The work fully expresses the dialogue between materials, and through various experiments, creating new possibilities.

YUCHEN JAO, an internationally trained designer working within—and beyond—the discipline of weaving, approaches structure as a form of language and tactility as a way of thinking.
Often working with nonconventional materials, JAO treats weaving as a bridge between tradition and modernity and as a way of translating the textures of the material world.

Every wood grain becomes a line of poetry—evoking wood, painting, and verse. With an artisan’s touch, we thoughtfully design refined and harmonious compositions tailored for each client.

「回歸本源 永續古蹟回饋大地」

原木，是樸實生態的元素；木紋，是歲月的聲音，是時光的痕跡；將近半個世紀以來，大自然生生不息地為宏庚帶來最自然質樸的素材，而宏庚從沒忘本，在取之於大地用之於大地的同時，決心以行動回饋於大地，期望設立登山口路標，甚至更進一步興建山屋，為屬於我們的壯麗自然出一分力。

“Returning to Our Roots: Preserving Historic Sites and Giving Back to the Earth”

Raw wood is an element of simple, natural ecology; Wood grain is the voice of time, the traces of the ages; for nearly half a century, nature has ceaselessly provided Honggeng with the most natural and unadorned materials. Honggeng has never forgotten its roots; while taking from the earth and using its bounty, we are determined to give back to the earth through action. We hope to establish trailhead signposts and even go a step further by building mountain huts, contributing our part to the magnificent natural world that belongs to us all.
