MANY homes and informal commercial developments run the risks of collapse if Trinidad and Tobago experiences a major earthquake.

This is the view of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago (APETT) Civil Engineering Division when asked if residential and commercial buildings could withstand a major earthquake in T&T.

With expertise spanning geoinformatics, disaster risk management, coastal and watershed management, and land administration, Cherece has dedicated her career to building a more resilient and sustainable Tobago.
