Sometimes the best ideas don't come when we're thinking
— they come when we finally stop.

Over a decade ago, 20 metres beneath the sea,
designer Kris Van Puyvelde watched a tube anemone unfurl
with the current, slow and unhurried. He sketched it,
then tucked the drawings away —
until he stumbled upon them again in 2023.

Some things we keep,
simply wait for the day we're ready to return to them.

This is Anamon.

A parasol that blooms from the inside out,
top down, every mechanism hidden within a single sleek column. A gentle turn of the handle, and it opens like a flower waking up — shade for the bright days, soft light for the evenings you'd rather not end.

สิบกว่าปีก่อน ลึกลงไปใต้ทะเล 20 เมตร

บางที สิ่งที่เราเก็บไว้ ก็แค่รอวันที่เราพร้อมจะกลับไปหามัน

และนี่คือ Anamon

ร่มที่ค่อย ๆ บานจากด้านในสู่ด้านนอก จากบนลงล่าง
ซ่อนกลไกไว้ในเสาเรียวเพียงต้นเดียว

เพียงหมุนมือจับเบา ๆ มันก็คลี่บานราวดอกไม้กำลังตื่น
ให้ร่มเงาในวันแดดจ้า และแสงนวลในค่ำคืนที่เราอยากนั่งต่อสักหน่อย

It was a true privilege for Royal Botania
to be part of SCATT Jazz Bangkok 2026.

An international jazz festival returning to Bangkok
for the first time in 19 years.

We were honoured to provide our Royal Botania collection as the VIP seating area at Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary), Srinakharinwirot University on 2 May 2026.

The afternoon welcomed distinguished guests including Bangkok Governor Khun Chadchart Sittipunt, H.E. Michel Parys, Ambassador of Belgium to Thailand, together with his wife,
and the Representative of the Netherlands Embassy in Thailand.

Mr. Francis Vanbellen, CEO of SDesigns and Executive of Royal Botania Asia, personally extended the invitation to H.E. Michel Parys, and together with Mr. Daniel, CXO, warmly welcomed the Ambassador and his wife on the day.

For us, this occasion was a quiet reminder of what Royal Botania has always believed that truly exceptional design finds its meaning not in the showroom, but in the moments it holds.

In the conversations, the music, and the connections that happen when remarkable people come together.
