For our tables and consoles we carefully select old submerged and antique wood including golden Thai Teak, Afzelia, Rosewood and Macassar Ebony. For modern items we use replant acacia wood.
We carefully collect rare pieces of old reclaimed wood travelling all over South East Asia. The enigma and prosperity of our tabletops is finishing process. We do clear resin coating for food grade surfaces a
nd heavy duty use of our dining tables. If you prefer natural and organic finishing we can offer ancient hand rubbed tung oil coating. We pay a lot of attention to finishing process. First, we dry our slabs for two months in a kiln. Second, we do leveling using leveling router instead of plane. Third, we sand as fine as possible to achieve extra smoothness of the table surface. Usually we sand up to one hundred times to get the mirror shining surface. Then we apply about 10 layers of clear resin or tung oil. We supply our dining tables with bronze or aluminium casting legs. The process is based on 5000 years old Thai traditional technique. Totally handcrafted and polished legs added more exclusivity to our tables.
