It has grown from strength to strength. To date, we serve a membership with strength of more than 200 members in the furniture and furnishings industry.

Officially established in 1926, Chinese Furniture Dealer’s Association was renamed SINGAPORE FURNITURE ASSOCIATION (SFA) to reflect its enlarged role as an effective representative body of the furniture retailers, manufacturers and traders. Besides promoting businesses, our association also seeks to promote camaraderie amongst member through the association's activities.

Exploring innovation, craftsmanship, and the future of furniture at HAWA Expo 2026.

From 5–8 March, the Singapore Furniture Association had the opportunity to visit one of the industry’s leading international exhibitions, connecting with global manufacturers, discovering emerging materials and technologies, and gaining fresh inspiration for the evolving furniture landscape.

These exchanges continue to strengthen partnerships and open new possibilities for Singapore’s furniture ecosystem as we look toward the next chapter of design, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence.

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the Singapore Furniture Association’s Annual General Meeting held on 29 April 2025.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mdm Ivy Ang Oh Chuek for her dedicated leadership and invaluable contributions as President during the 55th Term (2023/2025). Her commitment has been instrumental in advancing our industry.

At the same time, we warmly welcome our new President, Mr Michael Tan Lip Hong, along with the new EXCO members. We look forward to their leadership and fresh perspectives as we continue to promote growth and innovation in the local furniture industry.

On 7th April 2025, the Council of Asia Furniture Association (CAFA) held its 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at China Hebei Province, Shengfang Town.

Mr Michael Tan, 1st Vice President, and Mr Zac Lim Bin Xiang, Public Relations Officer of Singapore Furniture Association were present.

The 26th Annual General Meeting was held aimed to exchange valuable industrial insights and future trends.

Singapore Furniture Association remains steadfast in its dedication to unity and cooperation, working towards a shared vision among industry players to elevate the furniture sector in the Asian region.
