It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved father, Tay Meow Quee, on 18 October 2024. He was a loving father and grandfather, known for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for those around him.

Funeral Details:

Date: 18 to 22 October 2024
Wake Commences: 18 October 2024 at 11:30 AM
Cortège Departure: 22 October 2024 at 11:00 AM
Visiting Hours: 9 AM to 10 PM
Location: Woodlands Memorial, 7 Woodlands Industrial Park E8, Singapore 758969
Directions:

By Car: Park at L3 or L4, proceed to Lobby D, and take the lift to L5 (Cairnhill Hall).
By Public Transport: Alight at Woodlands MRT (Red Line), Exit 3.
Shuttle Bus Service (5 PM – 9 PM): A teal shuttle bus marked "Woodlands Memorial" will operate hourly to-and-fro.
Daytime Shuttle (Before 5 PM): Call 8833 0036 one hour in advance to book the service.
We would be grateful for your presence as we celebrate his life and bid him a heartfelt farewell.

Temasek junior college students drop by our shop to learn more about Tiong Bahru estate. Striking a conversation with Mr Tay, the students were keen to know more about the 48 years old shop and the boss himself was more than happy to share.
