For Sage Metz, Carel Woodworks delivered bespoke office solutions that bring together functionality, comfort and clean architectural design. From open workstations and integrated storage to lounge areas and custom seating, every detail was carefully crafted to create a workspace that feels calm, flexible and welcoming.

Our CEO, Elena Birtoc , recently joined the EduAct Romania – Compas Vocational initiative, spending time with students both in the classroom and inside our factory.

What stayed with us most was a simple truth: young people do not need more labels or criticism. They need guidance, understanding and environments where they feel heard, valued and inspired to grow.

We are grateful for the opportunity to open our doors, share our experience and learn from a generation that has so much potential ahead of it.

Rarely does a shelving piece work naturally in front of a window.

Most objects block light, interrupt the space or become visually heavy. Enclave was conceived differently, balancing structure and transparency.

Rather than hiding the architecture behind it, the piece allows light, shadow and surroundings to pass through and become part of the composition itself.

Presented at Alcova Milano inside the former military hospital of Baggio, the piece became part of the architecture itself, shaped by shadow, silence and natural light.

Natural elements, soft textures and tailored furniture come together to create an office that feels open, calm and welcoming.

Ne-a făcut mare plăcere să primim vizita elevilor din cadrul programului Compas Vocational, realizat la Liceul Teoretic „Ion I.C. Brătianu”.

Le mulțumim pentru interes, curiozitate și energia frumoasă adusă în fabrica noastră. Ne bucurăm de fiecare dată când putem arăta tinerilor ce înseamnă producția de mobilier premium, munca în echipă și pasiunea pentru lucrul bine făcut.

De la procesul de producție și materialele naturale până la tehnologie, design și execuție, sperăm că această experiență le-a oferit o perspectivă reală asupra industriei și asupra oportunităților pe care le poate oferi.

Last day at Salone del Mobile 2026.

An incredible week comes to an end. It feels great to be back in Milan, surrounded by so much energy, creativity and ambition.

We’ve had meaningful conversations, met amazing people from all over the world and once again felt the strength of this global design community.
