The last two weeks have been hard.
The last rabbit was sold, Steve has had a lingering stomach bug and then strained his stomach muscles lifting a 30kg bag of pig food.
So......, no time to get overwhelmed. Just had to muscle up and get stuck in!
While Steve has been convalescing, I have had a great time rearranging the farm and spending more time than usual with our farm friends.
Being here in such a beautiful space has reminded me why we are here and YES it is definitely worth it.

We have learnt a lot from raising our rabbits in a colony. Our children and their friends have enjoyed playing and watching them grow, where they are free to run and dig in their environment. Raising rabbits this way has worked extremely well for us on our homestead.😄
