تم إنشاء العناية المركزة لحديثي الولادة عام 2000 حيث يتكون من طابقين بجوار مبني العيادة .

• في عام 2008 و بالتنسيق مع الإغاثة الإسلامية undp – unfpa حيث تم ترميم الأقسام و تزويدها بجميع المستلزمات من أسرة وأجهزة .

• تم تشغيل قسمين في المبنى بعدد 28 سرير.

• قسم المرحلة الأولي 12 سرير مبيت.

• قسم الحمل الخطر 12 سرير مبيت.

• كذلك تم تفعيل غرفة العمليات الخاصة تحت بنج كامل بعد تجهيزها بجميع المعدات و الأجهزة ، وقد ظهرت هذه النشاطات والإنجازات التي حدثت سابقا عام 2002 و كذلك عام 2008 مما ساعد علي زيادة الخدمة المقدمة للمرضى و زيادة عدد المترددين علي أقسام المبنى وزيادة حالات الولادة من الدخول في المستشفى.
