You almost miss it. Barbara Kwiatkowska is painting at an easel — it's a scene from Rybkowski's 1959 “Mr. Anatol Seeks a Million” – and somewhere behind her there's an RM58 armchair. It's not the point of the shot, it's furniture. It's doing what furniture does.

Roman Modzelewski designed the RM58 around a simple idea: one material, one curve, no seams. The Victoria & Albert Museum eventually bought one. The National Museum in Warsaw has two. But here, in 1959, it's just a chair in a film that nobody expected to become a design history footnote.

Edmund Homa designed GFM-104 chair in 1966. Now, decades later, it returns as a proof that good design never goes out of style. Solid wood, precision in detail, calm proportions. A true sculpture in wood.

Some forms are so resolved that they ask to be taken further. The 200-190 chair, designed by Rajmund Teofil Hałas in the 1960s, is one of them – a curved backrest so distinctive it became a signature of Polish mid-century design.

For decades, it lived as a single chair. But a form this balanced doesn't belong to one room. Working from Hałas's original drawings, we expanded the 200-190 into a full series – and gave it a place it never had: the bar counter. The 200-190 Bar Stool carries the same proportions, the same silhouette, lifted to a new height.

From dining rooms to kitchens, from homes to cafés. One line, drawn in the 1960s, still unfolding.

Every family has its extravagant one. For us, it's the Bunny – Józef Chierowski's 300-177 armchair, the bolder cousin of the iconic 366.

Designed in the 1960s, it never had the same fame. But it had something else: armrests that rise and curve like rabbit ears, a form that feels both playful and composed. A piece of Polish modernism that chose expression over restraint.

We brought the Bunny back – and then we went further. Based on the shape of the armchair, we created a sofa that carries the same distinctive silhouette. Together, they form a duo: two pieces from the same lineage, one design language, one unmistakable character.

We created a contemporary re-edition of the 300-190 armchair and other furniture from the Fox line to honor the best of Polish design. Meet the Teckel Coffee Table – a part of Fox series designed by Henryk Lis, which means Fox in Polish. The table design featuring a characteristic rounded top is a tandem of the functional thought and the style of the 60s.

The 300-190 armchair is like family – in Poland, this model has appeared in so many homes that it has become part of the domestic landscape. Each of us has seen it at our grandmother’s or aunt’s place. It has witnessed many household stories, and in some it was even the main character. Today, in a refreshed reissue that we named Fox in honor of the designer’s surname, it returns to Polish homes and visits more and more foreign ones. Recently, it joined the family of , where it is fortunate to take part in many warm family stories. May they live long and happily ever after!

The role of detail cannot be overstated. Every design enthusiast knows this. Top-quality materials, their harmonious combination, and a well-thought-out form are precisely what create a piece of furniture’s unique character.

When Henryk Lis was designing the “Fox” armchair, he knew that due to shortages in Poland at the time, his piece would be made from much more modest materials. Today, just over 60 years later, we are restoring the design to its former glory and presenting it to you also in a contemporary version: the Metal edition. We hope that the creator of the characteristic notch in the armrest would be pleased to see his design in such a refined and carefully crafted form.
