One of the things we love most about working with wool and natural dyes is how alive the colours become.

Nothing here feels flat or obvious — the tones shift constantly depending on the light, the textures around them and the time of day. Sometimes deep brown, sometimes plum, sometimes almost midnight blue.

That depth is what makes a rug truly transform a space.

Burgundy has been on our minds for a long time.
A shade with depth, warmth and a certain quiet elegance — one that has the power to completely shift the atmosphere of a room.

This new series is a reflection of how we think about colour at Nomad Warsaw: never generic, never obvious, always carefully developed until the tone feels just right. We spend a lot of time searching for shades that bring character while still living beautifully within a space.

For us, colour is never an addition. It is often where the whole interior begins.

This soft sand tone is one of those colours we return to very often when working on custom rugs. It responds beautifully to changing light during the day and creates a calm base for the whole interior without taking attention away from other materials in the space. Natural wool always brings a certain quiet depth to these lighter tones — they never feel flat, always slightly alive. It’s a colour we often return to when thinking about calm, material-led interiors.
