**The Helpful Little Elephant**
Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, lived a kind baby elephant named Elly. Elly was known for her big heart and her even bigger trunk. One bright, sunny morning, she discovered a magnificent tree laden with the most delicious, ruby-red apples she had ever seen. However, the branches were far too high for her smaller forest friends to reach.
Instead of keeping the discovery to herself, Elly used her long, strong trunk to carefully pluck the juicy fruit. She called out to her friends—the rabbit, the monkey, and the little birds—inviting them all to enjoy the sweet treat. They spent the morning laughing and feasting together under the shade of the great tree.
Suddenly, a faint, sad cry echoed from the direction of the river. The animals rushed over and found a small turtle trapped in a deep, sticky patch of mud. The poor turtle was struggling, but the more he moved, the deeper he sank. Without a second thought, Elly stepped forward. She gently wrapped her trunk around the turtle’s shell and, with a steady pull, lifted him safely out of the mud and placed him onto the soft, green grass.
The turtle was so grateful, and all the animals cheered for Elly's bravery and quick thinking. As the sun began to set over the trees, the forest was filled with happiness.
**Moral of the Story:**
**"Kindness and sharing make the world a happier place."**
