Every June, we celebrate Pride. But acceptance, respect, and love should never be limited to a date on the calendar.

The rainbow community doesn’t stop existing after June 30. They are our family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and fellow Filipinos—people who laugh, dream, struggle, and love just like everyone else.

Being different doesn’t make anyone less human. Loving differently doesn’t make anyone less deserving of dignity and respect.

So this Pride Month, let’s celebrate authenticity. And beyond Pride Month, let’s continue building a society where people don’t have to fight for acceptance—they simply belong.
