INFO'S FIRST RAMADHAN FORUM FOR 2026 FILLS SKCC WITH SISTERS OF ISLAM ENLIGHTENED ON MODEL WOMEN FROM THE LIVES OF THE PROPHETS
Four hundred eighty-three sisters in Islam filled the seats at Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex, Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City, during the Ramadhan forum hosted by the Ittihadun Nisa' Foundation Incorporated (INFo) on February 21, 2026/Ramadhan 03, 1447, enlightened on the topic "Tuladan na Bayanan nu mga Muslim a Babay" (Models of Women in Islam).
With the theme βFrom Heritage to Horizon: Womenβs Roles in Islam,β resource speakers Alimah Jihan Batiting and Alimah Samira Said recounted to participants the lives, contributions and admirable personality traits of the women who were incredible influences during the lives of the Prophets, such as Khadija R.A., the first wife of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) or Maryam R.A., the mother of Prophet Isa (AS), all of whom serve as timeless paragons to all women in Islam.
Engr. Suad Saidali, INFo President, welcomed participants to the program after the Words of Wisdom were shared by Anisa Abdullah, while closing remarks was delivered by Noraya Mustapha, both members of the INFoβs Board of Directors (BOD).
The series of Ramadhan Fora, as mentioned by Nemia Kamensa-Nando, INFOβs BOD Vice-Chair, aims to nurture individuals and seek to provide guidance relevant to the Holy Qurβan and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to strengthen faith, character and social responsibility. Held every Saturday throughout the whole month of Ramadhan, the fora focus on deepening Islamic teaching, reflections of oneβs faith, and develop righteous character and leadership qualities among Islam women and youth.
As introduced by Wafa K. Esmail, INFoβs External Vice President, Alimah Batiting simultaneously serves as INFo adviser, Bangsamoro Development Agency trainer, Arabic teacher at the Ibnol Al-Jazarey Qurβan Memorization for girls at Patadon, Kidapawan City, member of the Muslim World League in Makkah Al-Mukarrama Kingdom of Saudi Arabiaβs Missionary in the Philippines, and employee at the Bangsamoro Women Commission.
Meanwhile, Alimah Said, also an INFo Adviser, works at Mahad Libutan Al islamie Markaz Dar Alhanan Litaβlimil kitab was sunnah Traditional education Ummahat.
Before the end of the program, the earliest participants to arrive at the venue, those who answered successfully during the question-and-answer portion of the program, and those randomly selected through a raffle all received haadiya provided by the INFo and private sponsors.
Serving as Lady of Ceremony was Baihynn A. Matabalao while the opening invocation, delivered through verses from the holy Qur-an, was read by Alhafidha Rayyana Pendi.
