In the many things that man does not have an answer of, he strives with all his strength to prove he can emerge a victor, in his limited knowlege, he attempts to explain the unfathomable, in his influence, he thinks he can rule nations.
In his venture to be like God, he becomes a self-absorbed little god, venturing in many 'great' things yet, ending up empty, lacking and enjoying temporary, volatile pleasures.
Many times over in history, all who play god, fall under their own trap. Their short term reign is filled with strife. Their temporary pleasures brought them shame & grief. Their name is remembered yet never revered. Their earthly life may have been glamorous but after, they face such dark tunnel of uncertainty!
But those whose will is surrendered to the Sovereign purpose of God flourishes! In his weakness, he finds strength, in his limitations, he sees that the greater power of God is at work and in his temporary earthly assignment, he pursues eternity.
c'mon, why do you play God?😳
