Family rooms don’t have to look the same to feel right.

Some are warm and layered. Others are light and pared back. What stays the same is what they’re made for, a place to gather, unwind, and be together.

In every project, we shape the space around how it’s actually used. Quiet evenings, time with family, or moments of focus in between.

When a room responds to your daily rhythms, it feels easier to live in.

There isn’t one way to design a family room. Only what works for you.

This powder room began with one clear direction. Our client’s favorite color, translated into custom Machuca tiles in purple.

It’s a familiar pattern, but made specific. Instead of layering more elements, the rest of the space is kept quiet, allowing the color to lead without overwhelming it. The round mirror softens the geometry, while the lighting keeps the room bright and balanced.

It’s a simple approach, but an important one. Not everything needs to stand out. When one element is given focus, the space feels more resolved.

A small room, but one with a clear point of view.

This powder room is compact, but quietly prepared for more. Designed with a full shower, it’s ready for when the adjacent space becomes a bedroom. Small in scale, but considered beyond the present.

What shapes the experience here are the details you don’t rush past. A sculptural wall lamp casts a warm, gentle glow. Beside it, the wall frames hold the client’s own bird photography, adding a layer that feels personal and lived in.

Everything is kept simple, allowing the room to feel calm, intimate, and complete.

A small room, but one that feels lived in from the start. 🤍

A quiet beginning, with more to come.

We’re starting a series on powder rooms, spaces we’ve always believed deserve the same level of thought as the rest of the home. Often overlooked, but when done well, they become the ones people remember.

This one is meant to be experienced. As you step in, the shoji inspired tiles set a soft rhythm around you. The backlit mirror holds a calm, even glow, while the styling keeps everything warm and restrained, just enough to feel complete.

A slatted divider, made of metal and finished to look like wood, subtly separates the water closet from the lavatory, keeping the space open while giving it structure.

As you move through the room, the pendant light casts quiet shadows that shift across the surfaces, adding depth in a way that feels natural over time.

A small room, but one that stays with you.

More to come. 🤍

Some spaces aren’t meant to be rushed. This lanai was designed to feel easy, where you can sit, stay a while, and let the day move a little more gently.

It’s often in these quiet moments that a home truly comes to life.

Some spaces feel like summer in a way that lasts.

It starts with light, then materials that feel natural, a palette that stays warm and relaxed, and a space that’s allowed to breathe.

When each layer is considered, the feeling comes together

Sunlight, all day.

What started as an unplanned addition has become our client’s personal haven, a space that quietly stands out within the home.

Designed to slow things down, it’s where mornings begin gently and afternoons stretch a little longer. Custom daybeds and a peacock chair, all sourced from Cebu, bring warmth, texture, and a quiet sense of character to the space.

Just beyond, the client’s flower garden surrounds the room, adding color, softness, and a constant connection to the outdoors.

This is one of our favorite spaces we’ve designed. A private getaway, right at home. One that asks you to stay a little longer.

Swipe through and stay a little longer. 🤍

For this project, we kept the work minimal and focused on how lighting could do more.

In the living and dining areas, we chose fixtures that not only provide light, but also help define the space.

Across the unit, we added floor and table lamps to support the ceiling lights, bringing light closer to where it’s needed.

Nothing excessive. Just enough, done with intention, so the space feels complete. 🤍

Sometimes, the best approach is knowing what not to change.

For these bedrooms, our client wanted to keep things minimal, so we worked with what was already there and introduced a few thoughtful updates.

A painted headboard wall adds warmth and definition, while simple desks and added storage make the rooms more functional for everyday use.

By keeping the layout intact and refining what matters, the spaces come together in a way that feels easy, practical, and well put together.

Along one side of the master bedroom, we treated the wall as a single, continuous element.

A long console, open shelving, and a study area come together to provide storage, function, and space for everyday use without breaking the visual flow of the room.

Designed for a rental unit, each piece was selected to be movable and adaptable, allowing the space to feel complete without relying on built-in elements.

A quiet solution that keeps everything connected, while supporting how the room is used day to day.
