What Is Toner, Anyway?

Ito daw ang secret ng BTS… Luh, interested na! 🤭

Let's talk science. A toner is a fast-penetrating liquid that delivers skin a quick hit of hydration and helps remove some dead cells off the surface resulting to plump, dewy and glowy skin.

It is like a primer for the rest of your skin-care routine like serums and moisturizer.

The newest generation of toners, have more than astringent properties. Currently, toners were also formulated to address almost every skin concern.

Look at our sKIN&tonic, Balancing + Clarifying Toner as an example. It contains natural acids that brings back your skin to its natural acidic state and even out skin discoloration (e.g. melasma symptoms, acne/pimple marks). It is sweeping away impurities and lastly, prepare your skin to absorb your subsequent skincare products (e.g. Hail Hydrate, Moisturizing Milk)

Oil is the most common raw material from coconut but did you know that Caprylic/capric triglycerides (an excellent emolient) also came from coconut? Now you know, we will discuss more about this soon.
