Hello everyone!
I've freequently been asked by curious individuals "why CELEDONIO WOODWORKS and who is Celedonio?".
Well, this is the late Mr. Celedonio Vargas, my grandfather- the inspiration behind my furniture business. He is a self-taught and passionate woodworker. Armed with a pencil, ruler and framing square, he would draw his own design and start building furniture for his family. He's not a professional furniture maker, by the way. Many of the pieces he has built still stand today, most of them are over 40 years old!
A bookshelf with glass cover, chest of drawers, a wardrobe cabinet and a wooden chest for blankets, just to name a few.
I've been admiring his work ever since i was a child and somehow inherited his passion for woodworking and eye for perfection. Celedonio Woodworks aims to continue his legacy, hence our motto "Crafted with Passion, Built to Last".
