Heavenly Father, Sovereign Lord of all nations,
We humbly come before Your throne of grace, lifting up the Republic of the Philippines in this time of strife.

In Your infinite wisdom and mercy,
Intervene in the conflicts tearing at the heart of its government—division among leaders, corruption's shadow, partisan battles, and the cries of the people for justice and peace. Touch the hearts of presidents, senators, congressmen, judges, and all in authority. Soften hardened spirits, dissolve pride, and ignite a fire of unity, integrity, and selfless service.

As it is written in Your Word,
"When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices" (Proverbs 29:2), and "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will" (Proverbs 21:1). Direct their decisions toward righteousness, protect the vulnerable, and heal the wounds of mistrust. Let truth prevail over deceit, reconciliation over retaliation, and Your peace that surpasses understanding reign in Malacañang, Congress, and every hall of power.

Shield the Filipino people
From the chaos of discord—farmers, workers, youth, families, and the marginalized. Provide for their needs, restore hope, and turn this nation into a beacon of Your glory. Banish violence, foster dialogue, and birth a government that reflects Your justice, compassion, and order.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up our beloved country, the Philippines, into Your loving hands.
In these times of struggle, we pray for healing, honesty, and justice in our nation. Remove the corruption that weakens our government, steals from the people, and destroys trust among leaders and citizens. Touch the hearts of those in power, that they may choose integrity over greed, service over selfish ambition, and truth over deception.

Lord, raise leaders who truly care for the Filipino people — leaders who are righteous, wise, compassionate, and faithful in their responsibilities. May those who govern our country work for the good of every family, every worker, every child, and every community. Give courage to honest public servants and protect those who stand for what is right.

Teach us as citizens to become responsible, united, and prayerful people. Help us not to lose hope for a better future. May justice prevail, peace reign in our land, and may the Philippines become a nation guided by truth, humility, and love for one another.

Bless our country with progress, safety, and unity. Let Your light shine upon our leaders and our people, so that future generations may live in a nation filled with honesty, opportunity, and hope.

Every morning before the sun rose, Lina was already awake. She prepared breakfast, packed lunches, washed clothes, and still managed to smile before sending her children to school.

Her children never noticed the tiredness behind her eyes or the sacrifices she quietly made. When money was short, she skipped meals just so they could eat enough. When they were sick, she stayed awake all night beside them. She never complained.

Years later, during Mother’s Day, her youngest son handed her a simple handwritten note:
“Thank you, Mom, for giving us everything even when you had little. Your love made our lives complete.”

Lina smiled with tears in her eyes because, for the first time, her children truly saw the strength of a mother’s love.
