📢 CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY | SMD Foundation Academy

In line with the City Government of Marawi’s Public Advisory declaring August 19, 2026 (Wednesday) as a "Local Special Non-Working Holiday" in celebration of the 86th Marawi City Charter Day and the opening of Araw ng Marawi,

THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES TOMORROW, AUGUST 19, 2026 (WEDNESDAY)

Regular classes will resume on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

We encourage everyone to take part in the celebration and observe the holiday safely.

In one gesture, a thousand promises were made.

During the 19th Capping, Badge Investiture & Candle Lighting Ceremony of SMD Foundation Academy, our student nurses offered their candles — a symbol of hope, compassion, and the sacred duty they are about to carry.

Each flame represents a life they will touch. Each light represents the vow: "To serve with heart, to heal with compassion."

Day 2: Biochemistry Laboratory Activities
BSN I – Group 2 | July 9, 2026

🧑‍🏫The Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Group 2, successfully completed the second day of their Biochemistry Laboratory. The activities focused on Laboratory Activities 1 and 2, providing students with hands-on experience in basic biochemical procedures, solution preparation, filtration, and accurate measurement.

🧑‍🏫Under the supervision of Professor Potre Norhara B. Ganda, students demonstrated discipline, teamwork, and proper laboratory safety protocols while conducting experiments in full laboratory attire and PPE.

🧑‍🏫These practical sessions are vital in strengthening the scientific foundation of our future nurses and preparing them for evidence-based clinical practice.

We commend BSN I – Group 2 for their dedication and active engagement in learning.
