𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐘𝐒𝐀 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

MALOLOS, Philippines — Young Single Adults (YSAs) of the Malolos Philippines Stake gathered on October 18, 2026, for a special conference centered on faith, covenant living, and lifelong discipleship.

The conference brought together 111 registered participants, eight bishops, and stake leaders for discussions on education, work, marriage, life after missionary service, and other challenges young adults face. The event concluded with a dinner, providing an opportunity for participants to strengthen friendships and fellowship.

Bishop Jomz Moral of Guiguinto Ward reminded participants that they do not have to face life's challenges alone. “The covenant path is not for people who never make mistakes, but for those who repeatedly return to Christ,” he taught.

Bishop Larry Jan Pedrosa of Plaridel Ward encouraged young adults to put the Lord first as they prepare for their futures. Reminding them that “marriage is not a race,” he emphasized, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things—all, education, work, temple marriage—shall be added unto you. Nothing less, and all the more.”

Bishop Arwin Manalo of Tabang Ward addressed the four priorities of young adults: education, work, Church or temple, and family or personal life. He reassured them, “Believe me and trust me, mga anak, hindi nagbabago si Heavenly Father noong kami ay YSA noong 1990s, ganoon pa rin Siya sa inyo ngayong 2020s. Mahal na mahal Niya kayo, may blessings para sa inyo.”

President Ronualdo Galang, First Counselor in the Stake Presidency, emphasized the importance of remaining faithful disciples of Jesus Christ after missionary service.

“The danger is not that we have responsibilities after our mission. The danger is to allow those responsibilities to push the Savior out of our lives,” President Galang shared.

The conference reminded young adults to keep Jesus Christ at the center of their lives, honor their covenants, and continue growing in faith through every season.

"No matter what inadequacies or flaws we think we have, the Lord can help us overcome them. As we put our faith in Him and trust in His timing, He can turn our weaknesses into strengths and help us become who He wants us to be."

𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐒𝐢𝐬. 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧

I’m grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My faith continues to grow as I pray, study the scriptures, and try to follow Jesus Christ each day.

​I know that Heavenly Father loves us and that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I believe that His Church has been restored to the earth and that the Book of Mormon is true. The gospel gives me hope, peace, and strength, especially during difficult times.

​One scripture that strengthens my faith is Moroni 10:5:

​“And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.”

​This reminds me that I can seek my own testimony through sincere prayer and the guidance of the Holy Ghost. I may not have all the answers, but I choose to trust Heavenly Father and continue strengthening my faith in Him.

​I also love the promise in John 14:27:

​“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.”

​I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves each of us. I’m grateful for His restored gospel and for the opportunity to keep learning, growing, and drawing closer to Him.

𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐅𝐅 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭

Members of the Malolos Philippines Stake joined fellow Latter-day Saints from across the Quezon City North Mission for the BFF Family Musical Concert on October 10, 2026, at the CSJDM Riverpark Esplanade in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

The concert gathered approximately 1,200 attendees and marked the culmination of the National Family Week celebration of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints within the mission. Representatives from all eight stakes came together through music to celebrate family, faith, and the announcement of the San Jose del Monte Temple.

Brother Argel Agustin, Quezon City North Mission Communications Director, likened the mission’s eight stakes to siblings gathering for a family reunion. Despite their unique identities, they came together “with one heart and one purpose,” demonstrating the faith, love, and sense of belonging that unite them as one family in Christ. He also emphasized that wholesome recreational activities, such as the concert, provide opportunities to strengthen family bonds and deepen faith in Jesus Christ.

Representing the Malolos Stake, the Malolos Stake Choir performed “It Is Well,” “Families,” and “Homeward Bound.” Selected youth from the stake—Maria Elena de Leon, Leilarhone Paguia, Hiron Dulay, Elgane Andagan, Eunice Mahilum, Prince Madison Masikat, Larene Mei Galang, Samantha Marinda, Frances Ailyn Agustin, Jarom Ombao, Emmanuel Paraiso, Dwayne Isaiah Santiago, and Yohanna Shantelle Hernaez—also participated in the concert, showcasing the talents and contributions of the youth in celebrating family, faith, and unity through music.

Meanwhile, the Guinta Band, composed of Luis Delos Reyes, Emmanuel Paraiso, Orson Clemente, Nathan Sasing, Rain Surio and Service missionary Sister Santiago, performed “Purple Rain.” The Estrella Family Band, featuring Mauro Estrella Jr., James Dominic Estrella, Joaquin Estrella, John Dale Estrella, and Juan Diego Estrella also showcased the musical talents of family members performing together.

For President Ronualdo Galang III, first counselor in the Malolos Stake presidency, the concert was especially meaningful as he watched his children perform. Reflecting on the role of parents in nurturing their children’s talents and faith, he shared, “As a father, I know that my role is not to choose their paths for them, but to guide, support, and encourage them to make choices that will bring them genuine happiness.”

The choir’s performance also touched him deeply. “Through their voices, I could feel the Spirit and the sacred importance of family. It reminded me that music is more than just a performance—it can invite the Spirit, bring families closer together, and help us feel our Heavenly Father’s love,” he said.

The concert followed BFF Talks: Building Forever Families, held on October 3, which welcomed 298 attendees for discussions on child well-being, parenting, education, nutrition, and community support.

Through music, the concert reflected the message of National Family Week: that families and communities grow stronger when people of all ages come together, nurture relationships, and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐌𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐱 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐧

Sometimes, we can be too hard on ourselves. Madaling isipin ang mga pagkakamali at pagkukulang natin, at minsan, may mga bagay tayong gustong baguhin sa mga nagawa na natin.

Minsan, nakakapagod din ang makaramdam ng kalungkutan. May mga pagkakataong nawawalan ako ng gana sa mga bagay na karaniwan kong ginagawa. Kapag nararanasan ko ito, iniisip ko na Jesus Christ is always there for me. He will help and guide me, at hindi Niya ako pababayaan sa mga problemang hinaharap ko.

Alam ko na halos lahat naman tayo ay humaharap sa mga pagsubok, kaya madalas nating iniisip kung paano natin malalampasan ang mga ito. Minsan, ito ang nagiging dahilan kung bakit tayo nalulungkot. Pero hindi lang mga pagsubok ang nagpapalungkot sa atin. May mga pagkakataon ding napapaisip tayo kung bakit kailangan nating harapin ang mga problemang ito.

Kaya huwag nating kalimutan na mga anak tayo ng Diyos. Sa tulong ni Jesucristo, kaya nating harapin ang mabibigat na hamon sa ating buhay.

I learned that being a child of God means that we don’t have to be perfect. Heavenly Father loves us, and Jesus Christ sees our divine potential. If you really think about what it means to be a “child of God,” maiisip natin ang mga bata. They make mistakes, sinasadya man o hindi, pero mahal pa rin natin sila. We don't stop loving them just because they make mistakes. That is how we can begin to understand our Heavenly Father's love for us.

Because of Jesus Christ, we can repent, change, and become better. We remain children of God, and through His Atonement, we can overcome our sins and weaknesses and prepare to receive the blessings He has promised us. Kahit may mga kasalanan o pagkakamali tayo, maaari pa rin tayong magbago at magsikap na maging mas mabuting tao. Hindi nababawasan ang ating halaga dahil lang sa mga pagkakamali natin.

So, be proud of yourselves sa mga pagbabagong nagagawa ninyo araw-araw. Be proud of the things you never thought you could do, even the small things. Every sincere effort to change and become better matters.

Before I end this, I want to remind you that God doesn't remove every trial, but He supports us through them and will deliver us according to His wisdom and timing.

I know that as we turn to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, pray, read the scriptures, and strive to follow Them, we can feel Their love and guidance. They can fill our hearts with peace and help us become who we were meant to be.

I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real, and I know They live. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧

Sister Reignalyn Casingal of Tabang Ward, Malolos Philippines Stake, was honorably released from her full-time missionary service in the Japan Kobe Mission on October 11, 2026.

Reflecting on her missionary experience, Sister Casingal shared how her mission strengthened her understanding of God's love and the purpose behind life's experiences.

“Life is a blessing from God. Everything that we experience here on earth, may it be good or bad, are needed to be in the presence of God,” she shared. She encouraged others to embrace life's experiences and trust that God is continually molding them into the people He knows they can become.

Among the lessons she gained from her mission was the privilege of knowing God more personally. She testified that Heavenly Father knows each of His children, is ever present in their lives, and loves them individually.

Although her full-time missionary service has come to an end, Sister Casingal's invitation to share the gospel continues to resonate: “Go do dendou (missionary work)!” Her message encourages members to find opportunities to share their faith and help others come unto Jesus Christ in their everyday lives.

𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟓𝟎–𝟓𝟕

Just like the Israelites, we sometimes feel captive to the consequences of our sins and believe there is no chance for us to change. However, these scripture verses remind us that we should always have hope. As we continue to follow the gospel, we can break free from the chains of sin and experience the joy and comfort of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For this week’s Come, Follow Me lesson in Isaiah 50–57, may each of us be reminded to always seek the Lord’s hand and make Him our source of light in a world already surrounded by darkness.

"Isaiah 54 and 57 remind us that even when we feel distant from God because of our mistakes, His “kindness” and mercy do not depart from us and sometimes po feeling natin sobrang layo na natin sa Panginoon, pero He is always willing to receive us again."
