In light of the recent calamities in Cebu, the Supreme Student Government respectfully submits this formal appeal to request the early conclusion of the First Semester of Academic Year 2025โ2026.
Many Technologists continue to face severe challenges including unstable electricity, limited access to clean water and internet, and damaged homes and livelihoods. These conditions are not conducive to learning and place significant strain on studentsโ physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Continuing the semester under these circumstances does not reflect the realities our students are experiencing. Ending the First Semester would provide much-needed relief, allowing affected families time to recover and regain stability before resuming their studies.
We trust in the University Administrationโs wisdom and its commitment to prioritizing the welfare of all Technologists. Thank you for your understanding and kind consideration.
