The devotion to Nuestra Señora de la Regla has flourished over the years and continues to this day. Devotees flock to her shrine in supplication and thanksgiving, and miracles continue to be experienced and recounted. Every year on November 21, the Virgin's Feast is commemorated with solemnity.

The residents of Opon chose Our Lady of the Rule as their patroness after hearing the story of the Virgn of Chipiona. They commissioned a large painting and hung it on the altar. Miracles began to occur, and devotion grew stronger.
