The Department of Trade and Industry Region 2 is set to participate in the 2026 National Trade Fair (NTF) on 18–22 February 2026 at Megatrade Halls 1–3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. As one of the country’s key trade events, the NTF gathers MSMEs from all regions to showcase high-quality, handcrafted, and sustainable Filipino products that highlight local talent and innovation.

Highlighting DTI R2’s participation is Padday na Lima in Motion, the region’s signature branding initiative that brings the culture, creativity, and craftsmanship of Cagayan Valley to larger markets. Through curated displays and consistent brand visibility at national events, the initiative helps local enterprises connect with more buyers, expand their reach, and strengthen their presence in the industry.

DTI R2 will proudly feature eleven (11) MSMEs offering a diverse range of artisanal products. Visitors can see these MSMEs together in the Padday na Lima in Motion special setting, as well as at their own individual booths throughout the fair:

Maraming salamat National Arts and Crafts Fair ❤️

What began as a simple carving made from driftwood has grown into a thriving enterprise. Four H Handicraft, now a registered business since 2001, is based in Alfonso Castañeda, Nueva Vizcaya. The group is composed of 21 skilled carvers—80% of whom belong to Indigenous Peoples communities, while others are solo parents, out-of-school youth, and students. Through their craft, Four H Handicraft provides meaningful livelihood opportunities to those who need it most.

From carved wooden figures, the business has expanded to producing rattan accessories and other handcrafted items. Their participation in the National Arts and Crafts Fair since 2016 has opened doors to a wider market, especially in Metro Manila.
