Te Ara Roa Walkers Camp Taiharuru Kiwi Camp is a small camping site offering basic services. Campsite is for Te Ara Roa walkers only. No vehicles allowed. No standard camping available.

This campground is exclusively for Te Ara Roa walkers. No vehicle access. After a long day on the road we are pleased to offer you a nice flat area place to pitch your tent. We have fresh drinking water and hot shower facility in our Cabin plus a double gas burner and outdoor kitchen setup. Basic composting toilet. Picnic table and clothesline plus basic amenities such as tea, coffee, sugar, pasta

, rice etc and a few other luxuries. 2 single beds and a fold out double sofa in the Cabin. (first in-first serve) Rest up at night and enjoy the vivid display of the starry night sky. Listen to the Kiwi’s calling, they’re in the bush right beside you! Rate is $15 per person per night. Please pay into the honesty box or deposit online into Kiwibank 38-9004-0440469-00 LJ Olsen. This camp is built for you by Louis. I’m a 17 year old high school student and I have been working hard to create this camp for you. 19 Nov 2019. Just an update that Giulio will be arriving at the camp today. He is injured so he has reserved a bed in the cabin 😊
