We love the Whanganui Vintage Weekend... if you haven't experienced it, please add it to your calendar. Put on your prettiest dress and shoes, ladies. Gentlemen, don your Roaring Twenties outfit, especially the hat, and enjoy the many things to see and do. Music galore and happiness.

On Wellington Anniversary Weekend, the hugely-popular Whanganui River Markets becomes the "Retro Riverside Market". Delicious street food, a farmers market section, art, craft and plants. Over 150 stalls with everything imaginable including lots of treasures from the past.

Whanganui families, Christmas Trees On Somerset is once again offering our free Christmas tree return service to prevent our trees from going to landfill. We are a renewable and sustainable business, so mulch them to return to the ground. For one day only, tomorrow, Saturday, 10 January 2026, come to 121 Somerset Road between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Add your tree to the stack and drive out onto Devon Road.

Open today 1pm-7pm. Tree's are going out the gate. I reckon we'll be sold out in the next two days, so if you’re interested in smaller trees, we have some. Prices range from -$5-$40 for these. Enjoy "The Real Scent of Christmas" this year.

Good afternoon, open today 1pm-7pm. We have only a handful of tagged-to-hold trees. These are specifically donations to the community by Harcourts, Whanganui, Ten Toes Firewood & the Salvation Army. Our family and very close friends are also included. Unfortunately, we can't tag for anyone else because the paddock becomes too full of these held trees, and customers looking for available trees cannot find them. Thanks for understanding.
