Last week's op-shop purchase which became the "lunchtime" project for this week!! A nice 1920's Oak Morris chair ( recliner) that only needed a light sand down followed by a few coats of French polish and reupholstery. The style is the forerunner to the modern lazyboy!

A nice mid century chair in Oak. This chair was one of the first mid century pieces I purchased over 2 decades ago but for various reasons always sat at the back of the pile! He finally had his time to shine last year and had a short stint in the Pop Up shop where he was"adopted" by a caring family!!

Always a satisfying transformation on these little buttoned back chairs. This one was recovered in an amethyst velvet.

A nice pair of mid century stools completed last week in Orla Kiely fabric with borders in green wool. The mahogany legs were stripped, sanded, and given multiple coats of Danish Oil.
Sent down to the Pop-Up shop ( Flock) in Lambton Quay. If you are quick, they might still be for sale!!
