Another kitchen fit-out completed for a classic Kiwi bach, working alongside , who took care of the design.

The goal was to create a practical, hard-working kitchen that suited the relaxed feel of the bach, while making the most of the space and keeping the view open.

The kitchen features Blum New Zealand LEGRABOX drawers, Blum soft-close hinges, Hettich bi-folding door hardware and a Häfele Home NZ Le-Mans corner unit. A Hideaway Concealo bin pull-out keeps the rubbish tucked away, while an ABI sink and tap finish off the working area.

The benchtop is Trendstone Lisboa, paired with Melteca Spinifex fronts and Northern Oak feature panels in Prime Melamine.

A Bosch induction hob with downdraft extraction was used to keep the view from the sea unobstructed — a great solution for a bach where making the most of the outlook was important.

A great combination of practical storage, quality hardware and considered design, while still keeping that classic Kiwi bach feel.

We’ve recently completed the cabinetry and full fit-out for this beautiful new kitchen, and we’re really pleased with how it all came together.

The design, plans and specifications for this project were put together by , who created a great balance between timeless style and practical everyday functionality. It’s always great being able to take a well-thought-out design and bring it to life.

The finished kitchen features classic shaker-style doors and drawer fronts, complemented by reeded glass feature doors for a little added texture and detail. Behind the doors and drawers is a full range of quality Blum hardware, including Legrabox drawers, soft-close hinges and internal drawer organisers, along with a Häfele Lemans pull-out corner unit and a concelo Hideaway bin system to make the most of the available storage.

The cabinetry is finished in a two-pack lacquer and is complemented by a beautiful natural 30mm thick stone benchtop, supplied and installed by Stone Warehouse. The kitchen is completed with Fisher & Paykel appliances.

A great project to have been involved in, and a fantastic result achieved by everyone involved.

Functionality was a key focus, with Blum drawers and hinges delivering smooth, reliable operation, alongside a Blum Space Tower pantry providing exceptional storage and organisation.
To maximise every inch of space, Hafele LeMans corner units make hard-to-reach corners easily accessible, while integrated LED lighting adds warmth, practicality, and a premium finishing touch.

The heart of this home was designed to be more than just a kitchen — it was crafted to feel warm, timeless, and quietly luxurious.

From floor to ceiling, rich oak veneer cabinetry wrapped in 20mm solid timber framing creates a sense of depth and softness, finished in a warm brown stain that catches the light beautifully throughout the day. Every detail was considered, right down to the gentle curves of the island, framed with solid timber battens that bring texture and character to the space.

At the center sits the striking 20mm Amazon Forest stone, flowing seamlessly across the benchtops and splash backs, grounding the room with natural movement and earthy tones. Integrated Fisher & Paykel
appliances keep the design refined and uninterrupted, while the flush-mounted hob maintains the clean, seamless lines.

Inside, functionality meets craftsmanship with premium Blum hardware, Hideaway bins, and aged brass handles adding the finishing touch .

This full height, floor-to-ceiling custom wall unit creates a striking presence, featuring cupboards finished with aged brass handles for a timeless touch, a beautifully integrated gas fire for that cozy focal point, and floating shelves that add both style and practicality. Crafted from oak veneer and finished in a rich brown stain, it brings depth and sophistication to the entire space.
