We are only 2.4 miles to
the Waitomo Caves turnoff and are midway between the kiwiana towns of Otorohanga and Te Kuiti. On State Highway 3 which is one of the gateways to and from the Waikato and Taranaki. Your stay will be on an organic and sustainably run 32 acre boutique working farm. Walk through the lush meadows or native bush to the highpoint of the farm - the historic Gunfighters Pa from where you can see all over the Waitomo area. Enjoy panoramic views with large areas of native bush and interesting limestone and ryolite outcrops. Come and watch us sharemilk our cows and goats in season (July 2016 -Feb each year) (where all calves and kids remain with their mothers until naturally weaned) or just browse the farm to see the rest of the team – our free range chickens, Pekin ducks, Golden pheasants, horses (riding and miniature), sheep, goats and cows. We also breed working Beardie Collies and Balinese/Ragdoll cats so there is never a dull moment during a visit with us! A free range cooked breakfast is included in the tariff.
