Northpine is hiring! Looking to hire a Customer Service Rep.
Description
Northpine Ltd is a proudly Northland-owned timber manufacturer based in Waipu. We’re looking for a motivated Customer Services Representative to join our busy planning and sales office — supporting dispatch, freight coordination, and customer service across our Northpine and Northbeam brands.
About the Role
You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for customers, truck drivers, and contractors — keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Your day will be varied, covering:
- Generating and managing dispatch dockets for outgoing loads
- Coordinating freight and delivery schedules with transport providers
- Handling customer enquiries, orders, and phone calls
- Maintaining and updating Northbeam Live and order confirmations
- Assisting with invoicing, reporting, and export documentation
- Monitoring and ordering stationery, consumables, and office supplies
- Providing general administrative and customer service support across the team
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who:
- Is organized, accurate, and calm under pressure
- Has great communication and computer skills
- Can build strong working relationships with customers, drivers, and internal teams
- Enjoys multi-tasking and keeping on top of details
- Has experience in an office, dispatch, or logistics environment (preferred but not essential)
