Thames High School student Bryce is in the workshop with me today. He is on Gateway work experience. We ease into the days he is here with a mid morning start and then straight into learning how to use wood working tools. I'm super nervous about health and safety but he is steady and careful. At the moment we are working on a Jack and Jill chair made of beautiful macrocarpa for a customer over in Paeroa. The parts are slowly taking shape on the router table but there is lots to go...
