Motukarara Raceway (Banks Peninsula TC) Banks Peninsula Trotting Club is the Home of Grass Track Racing. Join us for one of our race meetings where there's fun for the whole family.

Dogs Welcome as long as they are on a lead. Banks Peninsula Trotting Club hosts several Harness Racing meetings throughout the year based at stunning Motukarara Raceway just 20 minutes from Christchurch. Banks Peninsula Meetings are easy to get to, with plenty to keep both adults and children entertained in between the grass-track harness action. Our grass track is currently under reconstruction and unfortunately won’t be ready for our first race meeting on Sunday, 20th September.

This meeting will be moved to Orari Racecourse, Geraldine. We thank you in advance for your patience and support while we work on getting the Motukarara track in peak shape!
