Waterson’s Retailing Ltd own and operate the largest Home Furnishing and Flooring Store in the Eastern Waikato. From its Matamata base it serves the towns and surrounding rural areas of Morrinsville, Putaruru, Te Aroha and Tirau and is only 45 minutes drive from Hamilton, Rotorua and Tauranga. Formed in 1922 by Don Waterson the company has maintained continuous family involvement for three generat

ions spanning over 90 years. In the 1970’s Waterson’s became a member of the Furniture and Carpet Court group of companies. The 2000m2 air conditioned superstore was custom built by Matamata’s longest serving business to celebrate the new millennium and is home to one of the largest collections of Furniture, Beds, Manchester and Floor Coverings in the Central North Island.
